The Mission of the Queensland Branch is:
To provide a forum for discussion of all aspects of resuscitation for the Health Industry in Queensland
The Purpose of the Branch is:
- To promote uniformity and standardisation of resuscitation techniques
- To act as the voluntary peek body for resuscitation in Queensland.
- To promote simplicity and uniformity in techniques and terminology regarding resuscitation;
- To gather, collate and disseminate scientific information regarding resuscitation techniques; to consider a modification of those techniques where appropriate on the basis of such information.
- To provide an advisory and resource service regarding techniques, teaching methods and teaching aids in accordance with national policies;
- To foster research into methods of teaching and practice of resuscitation;
- To establish regular communications with other bodies with similar objectives, in Queensland;
- To foster interest in, and promulgate information regarding resuscitation
