The Mission of the Queensland Branch is:

To provide a forum for discussion of all aspects of resuscitation for the Health Industry in Queensland

The Purpose of the Branch is:

  1. To promote uniformity and standardisation of resuscitation techniques
  2. To act as the voluntary peek body for resuscitation in Queensland.
  3. To promote simplicity and uniformity in techniques and terminology regarding resuscitation;
  4. To gather, collate and disseminate scientific information regarding resuscitation techniques; to consider a modification of those techniques where appropriate on the basis of such information.
  5. To provide an advisory and resource service regarding techniques, teaching methods and teaching aids in accordance with national policies;
  6. To foster research into methods of teaching and practice of resuscitation;
  7. To establish regular communications with other bodies with similar objectives, in Queensland;
  8. To foster interest in, and promulgate information regarding resuscitation
